Gargoyles are Monstrous Humanoids associated with the Plane of Earth. They are Chaotic Evil and will attack on sight.
Being Chaotic Evil they are vulnerable to Holy and Axiomatic weapons, as well as the appropriate Bane type.
Gargoyls are sneaky appearing as statues to the casual observer. Springing to life to attack the unwary is a great delight for these creatures.
They have excellent senses gaining a bonus to Spot and Listen checks.
When seriously threatened they will assume stone form to try to heal. While in this form their AC is much higher as well as an effective resistance to magic.
