| Quest Guide |
This is one of my favorite quests just because of the craziness and the Gerard Drydan Mace that sometimes spawns. Having multiple clerics is not a bad idea for this quest as Turn Undead is extremely useful. Don't enter the dungeon without someone with lock picking abilities. Without it, you wont be able to obtain the Mace and possibly all the objectives.
The dungeon is very simple, you move along the hallways moving into each of the outer rooms destroying all the sarcophagi you find and nuking all of the undead. In every room you'll find a lever that (after all 4 are pulled) unlocks the next portion of the dungeon. So continue around the outer edge of the dungeon doing just that.
If you have a cleric its fun to take one or two tanks and have them run down the hallway smashing as many sarcophagi as possible and leading 10-20 undead back to the cleric for a quick turn undead nuke.
Once you've reached the 4th outer room and pulled the 4th lever (there was a lever in the rest shrine room), you move to the inner rooms doing the same as the outer rooms. Once you reach an inner room that requires a lockpick (#7 on the map) you'll be able to loot a chest that could contain Gerard Drydan's mace which has an Undead Bane and a +1 Enhancement.
After all inner rooms are destroyed, go into the middle of the dungeon, destroy the Gerard Drydan ghast, read the inscription and move on to the next quest.
