I know when I finally get the game and can start playing I want to make a Ranger! Is anyone doing Ranger and if so could you please tell me how it is going and are they fun to play?!

Sorry to say I haven't played one yet. But I'm more of a "one character at a time" kinda person. I know there are plenty of alt-aholics here, that can answer.

I have a Ranger 3.3. Their are many ways a ranger can be built:
1)Archer- This is what I am. I am going archer all the way. I know at level 4 i will have magic points but my bow does the talking. My ranger has great marksmenship. Taken out kobolds one by one. my stats are as follows:
Str-14 (not possitive)
Dex-19
Con-12
Int-8
Wis-14
Char-8
2)Spells- 14 WIS!!!! You have to have 14 wis to use the most powerfull Ranger spell. I don't know what those are but you can find out for me ;p. I believe you have to have 10 wis to use any at all (when rolling your char look on the side it will say).
3)Animal hippy ;p- I use animal Empathy some times. Animal Empathy can cause animals (Wolfs, etc) to just stop fighting, such like a bard. I know rangers that constantly use this. Not as powerfull as a Bard but it gets the job done. Also at lvl 3, I think, you can choose (cost you an action point) but animal Empathy II and will allow you to use it 4-5 times a day (not sure).
Hope this anwsers some question. I know it probably didn't but.

I know one thing for sure..
If I was to play D&DO..
I would be a ranger..
and a nice looking ranger to be more precise ^^
