| Trouble with 30 day free access |

Hey everyone,
I need a hand. I bought D-n-D Stormreach, with the promise of free 30 day access. I didn't buy a time card, since I didn't think I needed one. So I installed the game and tried to creat my account, only to find I needed to enter billing info. Having no time card, I tried the product key, same amount of digits, seemed logical. Didn't accept it. So I tried the 10 day free access from the back of the slip. That one didn't work either.
The Support FAQ at Turbine was ridiculous, you need an account to send them a message. I couldn't find their e-mail address. So I turned here.
If I just need to get a game card, I will. I'm just really disapointed. It's past 1:30 am, so nothings open. This kinda sucks. Anyway, if anyone thinks they can help me out here, thanks,

I would say to get a gamecard. Most games that offer the first 30 days for free will still ask you for a credit card or game card number anyway. That's most likely the deal here.

Yeah I think you will need a game card if you dont have a credit card. When I set mine up with a credit card, It just put my first billing date 30 days out. I'm guessing it will do the same with a game card.

1st off Welcome to the site, Insert Coins!!!
Sorry it had to be under such sad terms. You do need to put in either a game card or a credit card in order to get your free 30 days. Now if you want to use a credit card to get it activated, you can cancel the credit card in your billing so it won't get charged.

Hey,
Thanks for the help guys. I called the retail store where I got the game, see if that helps, and I'll just get a Game Card, although the game was just released last week here, so most places apparently don't have them yet ...
As for the credit card, I'd need one. But plan B is to borrow a friends :p
We'll see how it goes, and thanks for the welcome. If all goes well, I should be crawling along with you guys tonight!

I'm not sure if the retail stores have game cards yet. The only place I have found them is here. It is the place that the official site gives to get them if you don't have a CC. But remember you can always cancel the CC with out having any money taken out if you need to borrow a friends.
