I need a Sneakers Group ...

Here's the Deal.

When I started playing Guild Wars, I played a Mesmer / Elementalist. It was fun, I was a nuker and could blast away like man with Fire magic. Back then, I didn't mind battle rushes. It meant everyone stayed in a pile.

Now though ...

I've been playing Pen and Paper D-n-D since 2nd Ed. and kept on playing 2nd Ed. right up until a few years after 3rd Ed. was released, then I moved away from my DM/Best pal and *Poof* went my days of Basements, Dice, and Soda.

The reason I mention Guild Wars is simple ((You could replace it with WoW, while you're at it)). Too many people are MMORPG conditioned to run into a run smashing and bashing. For example, there are quests where we happen upon rooms full of sleeping enemies. I swear, my Halfling rogue just drools as he sneaks in ... Only to have the bunch woken up by a full plate wearing fighter barelling yelling at the top of his lungs.

That's annoying. 'Cus now we have a fight, HPs might be lost and we haven't really gained much time.

I'm, essentially, tired of people rushing in, dag-nabbit!

Now, for the purpose of my post. I'm looking for people to play a more ... traditional version of D-n-D. Sneaking, voice chat, team coordination, the works.

I'm at 3 members now, including me. We play regularily and include a Rogue (Halfling[me]) a Wizard (Elf [Loco]) a Fighter is on the way, and we need a few more.

We play in Mabar, if anyone is interested, just hit me up in the area. The name's Insert Coins.

I know this i pretty much a rant, but it's also an invitation.

Thanks for your attention, and your coin purses;
**Sneaks away into the night**

You should create a guilds page for your guild and post about it on the mabar guild's forum so it doesn't get burried in the forums.

I do like the idea of your guild though. I know there are a lot of people who want to take their time with quests, and would love to part of a guild like yours.

Yeah, that sounds cool, too bad more people can't seem to realize that it's not all about the damage...

Now *that's* what I'm looking for.

Not the, "We're waiting for you at the tavern. Where are you?" "Oh, I've been inside the dungeon for five minutes. What's taking you so long?" group members. Talk about a turn off.

I guess that means I have to create another character and go through the harbor again.... oh joy.

LhazaarCorl... soon to be MabarCorl?

I have to admit, that's my biggest pet peeve. That's right up with that person who's eating doritos while on hands free. My group went through the inlet quest with precision and strategy. It was amazing. Pullling and hitting the baddies one by one was much more effective then going all out. Granted it took longer, but we got more xp,a nd better loot in the end.

Some times if you take it slow it really does pay off more in the long run. And after a while that death penality really does add up.
