I am interested in submitting maps for your database but I'm not sure how you get them in a screenshot. Do you scroll your map around and take multiple screenshots? Do I then submit them all to you to be assembled and annotated or do I assemble them myself with my less than stellar Photoshopping skills? Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Well, we are pretty picky about our maps here on Gameamp, it is one of the things that makes us stand out. And to be honest I'm not one of the map makers *grin* my photoshop skills aren't nearly great enough to create them... and I'm not quite sure about the process for getting them.

Maybe folks are using the expand button on the map? You'll definitely need less photoshopping afterwards...

I make several screenshots of maps, then put them as layers together in photoshop so that they are exactly over each other.
Once i have a full map without the blue dots of party members or other irritating stuff, i collapse the layers, print it and do a second run of the dungeon in order to note all the important locations down. (Shrines, traps, collectibles etc.) Then i open photoshop again and add their corresponding icons to the blank map, save it (if i need to adjust the map sometime in the future), export it as a *.jpg and that's it.
I used to post it in the screenshot section, but since today i'm a staff member and can upload them directly.
[Edit:] Haven't tried the expand button, but that's a good idea. I'll test it. Thanks.
