In the Twilight Forge update, Blackbone Arcane skeletons got a new trick - the casting of CloudKill. It has made several quests a much bigger challenge, since CloudKill not only causes hitpoint damage - but it also deals Constitution damage that builds up the longer you remain in the cloud.
A quick and easy way to survive Cloudkill is to pick up Neutralize Poison potions in the Market Tent, House J, or House K. Taking a drink of a NP potion makes you totally immune to the Con-Drain effect of a Cloudkill. You will still take some hitpoint damage, but it won't be as severe, and you won't face death from a Con score going to zero.
