The Spell Deathblock is quite versatile, and has many perks besides just blocking InstaDeath from Slay Living. It block ALL negative attacks from hurting you.
This includes:
Arcane Skeleton Auras
Unholy Damage from Flamestrike
Unholy Damage from desert archers.
Flesh Renders' Inflict Wounds spells.
In Tangleroot Gorge, there is an end reward called the Visors of the Flesh Render Guards. This has a 6 min Deathblock clickie on it (single use), and is a great item that is often overlooked. Give it a try, and I think you'll enjoy it. :)
